Conventional radiology

Through the use of digital technology and electronic image processing, radiation doses for patients can now be reduced to the bare minimum. This procedure is used in particular to examine the skeleton, heart, lungs and abdomen.
Furthermore, radiologists can use fluoroscopy to perform numerous special examinations of entire areas of the body such as the gastrointestinal tract, the spinal canal or the blood vessels. Thanks to electronic image enhancement, these examinations only require minimum doses of radiation.
